The Seiko Presage SARW013 is a unique watch that skillfully combines contemporary watchmaking with traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The black Urushi lacquer dial, painstakingly created by master artisan Isshu Tamura employing centuries-old traditions, is its most notable feature. The spirit of Japanese artistry is embodied in this elaborate procedure, which can take up to three weeks per dial and involves layering natural lacquer to obtain a rich, lustrous finish.
